The Airport Express bus service at Hamburg airport stops in front of Terminals 1 and 4. Services include:
  • City centre - every 15 minutes, approximately 30 minutes drive, last departure is at 22:54
  • Nearby Ohlsdorf U-Bahn / S-Bahn station - every 10 minutes
  • Altona Station - from 05:00 and 22:30

Regions covered include Greater Hamburg, North - Niedersachsen, Schleswig - Holstein, North Germany, North - Schleswig - Holstein, Ostholstein, Fehmarn, Kiel, Neumünster and surrounding area, Holsteinische Schweiz, Lübeck, Schleswig - Holstein, Mecklenburg - Vorpommern, Schleswig - Holstein, Northern Niedersachsen, Kreis Lauenburg, Mecklenburg - Vorpommern, Ostwestfalen - Lippe and Greater Bremen / Bremerhaven.

The Underground (U-Bahn)


The nearest underground rail station to HAM is Ohlsdorf, being reached by using the Line 110 Airport Express Bus. From Ohlsdorf, passengers have access to U1, S1 and S11.

Taxi Cabs


Taxis are readily available at Hamburg International - outside of the Terminal 1 and Terminal 4. The taxis travel into nearby Hamburg city (south) in around 20 minutes, whilst also linking Bonningstedt, Ellerbek, Eppendorf, Halstenbek, Norderstedt, Pinneberg, Rellingen, Schenefeld and Winterhude.
